Growing Together in Christ
The Fellowship Men's Ministry exists to build a culture of men who enjoy relationship with one another as they apprentice themselves to Jesus Christ. We envision a church with men who:
- Are grounded in their identity in Christ
- Are clear about and growing in their calling as men
-
Reject the cultural pressures of the day by:
- Prioritizing life with God over "busy-ness"
- Valuing presence with God and one another over distraction
- Honoring God's Word as authoritative and true in a world that hates God and rejects his Word
- Resisting the impulse to isolate and become addicted to sinful and/or harmful practices
- Love their families and communities in word and deed
- Enjoy spending time with one another
- Are skilled at encouraging and exhorting one another
- Handle conflict and difference of opinion and conviction with grace and humility
- Have a growing love and understanding of the Bible — its original meaning and implications for today
- Are intentionally proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel to the lost
Throughout the year, we plan campouts, backpacking trips, Bible/book studies, recreational activities, meals, and other events that foster relationship and encourage men in the faith.
